2017 Kemerton xl Thoughts
Just picked up our Kemerton XL on Saturday and love it, however there seems to be a couple of "design flaws" ?
1.The rear storage for the table is great, except it can only be accessed from the outside? it seems impossible to be able to unlatch all of the catches from inside?
2. The locker above the toilet seems perfect for toiletries - except it has a shelf, meaning no bottles etc over about 3inches will fit?
3. TV point - already posted, but seems nowhere to place a TV?
The Garmin Satnav is great, the voice control works amazingly well (better than my Lexus system), the camera is ok at best, but why didn't they just use the standard built in sat nav and camera from Peugeot, I hate having wires everywhere.
It seems a great use of space, rear washroom, good size kitchen, decent lounge - better than a lot of coachbuilts, and a massive bed about 6'1" x 6'5"
It drives great, plenty of go, and even on a brand new engine it is showing 31mpg for the first 200 miles which includes a lot of pottering around, so once loosened up should give more. Even tried some parallel parking, big space, but when I returned someone had parked 3" from my front bumper!!! still got out with some arm twirling.

Re: 2017 Kemerton xl Thoughts
Mine is a Kemerton but not the XL model so the layout will differ somewhat and of course your MH is a little longer than mine. With regards to the table we opted for a smaller one that fits perfectly under the bench settee. A fold-up chair now rests in the rear storage area where the table once was. On my van there is a locker above the fridge shelf where a TV holding bracket can be placed, to hold a relatively small TV. However when in use I prefer to place the TV on top of the fridge shelf just under the locker. As for space, like you I find it more than acceptable, as long as you don't allow your better half to fetch everything but the kitchen sink with them on your touring holidays.

You have chosen well! We have the same Kemerton as Mel above. Bathroom cupboard stores mainly towels and travel bottles of toiletries but you are right re shelf.
Excellent wet locker behind toilet stores spare toilet rolls , toilet fluids roll up hose and water filling pump.I have stored the table behind the shower wall at rear like yours but on a home made hardwood socket on floor with table held by a strap with quick release - very easy and sturdy to operate. Above this are the levelling ramps stored in a home made bag attached to the wall. This is normally dead space anyway.
This frees up the overcab area which housed the table which now stores bedding etc.
Our van has the dedicated avtex tv locker - great feature which hides the tv when not in use. Only 16'' but you are on holiday and can do without the 84" for a few days! I have wondered what you would do in the xl version without this feature.Envy your extra space!
I have modifed our seating as per charliefarlie so now can have 2 single beds , large double or 2 sofas facing each other as per warwick duo.
All in a great design even although we have suffered some problems.Stick with it , with use and experience, you will find solutions to any problems and do small mods to tailor the van to your needs! All the best and dont forget to wave!
