new frisky owners
Hello...
We have just bought a 1993 transit frisky to enjoy the upcoming fine weather with our 2 children while they are small enough to fit into a smallish van. Often we camp by car or bicycle, but I remember owning an Austin BMC J4 camper back in 1986 and we had a great old time nursing it up hill and down dale from London to the isle of skye. I remember driving with the engine lid off so I could make adjustments to the carburettor(?) while we were driving along. Noisy.
Hopefully our new vehicle will prove to need less attention, although it is actually relatively older at 20years to the J4, which I think was 16. Shocking.
I've joined the forum to get some information on history and the heater, which I will post elsewhere.
I'm looking forward to using the van and the forum, and hope I can be of some help too.

thanks folks.
It's windy here, trees blocking the roads and the wye reaching up into the pub, but it looks worse up north.
