Kingham Solar panels - can they be fitted
Hi all.
I realise there isn't much roof space on a Kingham but have any of you installed a solar panel?
Do any of you know of a good installer who will fit properly - with no resultant leaks, rust and properly integrate with the Sargent panel in the van?
Thanks.

New Kinghams have the option of an 80w panel so there must be somewhere to fit one. To be honest, I thought all AS's had at least a 30w one fitted for the last few years.

Easy answer. Phone Mark at A/S Service Dept. He will be able to advise at once.

Agree with Gromit. AS fitted ours. Seemed to do a neat job and it works.

In the early 60s and 70s, I use to live with my parents in Lincoln, just off Newark Road. Roaring Vulcans were common place, seen rising into the sky, taking off from Waddington, up on the hill. I miss them too, great planes.

As the others have said no problem. See you live in Cheshire? give Fit or Refit a call 01925 838900 and he will give you a price

Very interested to know how much AS or others quote you on this and how it goes. We will probably be looking at this next!

Re: Kingham Solar panels - can they be fitted
Hello everyone,I'm new to the forum.
I had a solar panel fitted at AS 3 weeks ago along with two TV brackets (didn't want to drill the van just yet).
£400 inc vat. Had a flatscreen repaired, microwave housing done and the freshwater under sill clip refastened, all under warranty. Still got the bungee cord on though, don't trust the clip.
