Kemerton XL Peugeot 150 HP engine under tray.
After my bird strike while the van is in being repaired.
The repairers pointed out to me that there is no under tray fitted under the engine.
Now I don't know if this is normal or not can anyone advise, now servicing will be easy as the oil filter is down there but looks very vulnerable. I am sure I have read some where about these trays not being fitted on Motorhomes but can't find it.
I looked at my pals motorhome on a ducato chassis same as the boxer he has no under tray fitted there but the oil filter is not down there.

The undertray is a Peugeot option, ours doesn't have one and my friends Autosleeper symbol 2016 model doesn't have one either

Re: Kemerton XL Peugeot 150 HP engine under tray.
I don't have an undertray on our 2015 Boxer, when I asked Local Peugeot commercial main dealer, he said never heard of it! but parts did quote me about £350+fitting!
They are available I see on ebay about £70, not genuine part, not sure if Peugeot will add a surcharge when a service is due to remove it to get to the oil filter, which like yours hangs down and is already rusty after 4500 mls and 10 mths. not that the rust is a problem, more concerned about the electrics getting wet. The service department said loads of trade vans come in with 100k+ miles with no problems. Reading on this forum site, I wish the same was true about Motorhomes, cannot get my head round why builders vans are more reliable, maybe it's all the materials they carry around and belt them down the motorways ! Not like us old boys plodding along on cruise control in 6th gear.

Re: Kemerton XL Peugeot 150 HP engine under tray.
I have just searched Ebay------Boxer 2016 undertray and several popped up, about £48 + fixings. Item No.111729812469
I have no knowledge of these trays as I have not yet bought one, so they may fit or need some adjustment, one of my concerns is how rigid they are, ie will they flap about when at speed.
Hope this helps,
Richard

I see from the Boxer brochure that an undertray (code FXO1) is only a £96 option as a factory fit item.
Might be worth asking Peugeot Customer Services rather than a dealer, a £250 mark up for the same item and then fitting charge on top seems very excessive even for Peugeot.

I went to local Peugeot dealer and was quoted £155 for the centre section may try a few more dealers.

I will take a look at the tray options at Peugeot and make a note of the prices. They seem to differ quite a bit.
