Water ingress in new stanton
Water ingress in New Auto-Sleeper Stanton
I need Help on finding solution to accepting rejection of new Stanton as water ingress came from central roof light on day of collection at dealer; repaired next morning; same ingress 6 weeks later; took 15 days to repair & return; then 13 days later same ingress .... who do I contact to realise refund or rejection, please?

Legally your contract is with the supplying dealer. Citizens Advice or solicitor?

I think that it's wrong for anyone to tell you what to do however given the circumstances if it was me I would get professional legal advice and raise the issue directly with the manufacturer so they are aware of your concerns and requirements from them whatever they may be.
You must feel very upset but unfortunately these things however unpleasant and stressful have to follow a process in order to progress. Go on line find a citizens advice drop in or speak to a solicitor who has skills in consumer rights.
You would think this is resolveable but the end already attempted a repair, who was it who failed?.
Good luck

As i do not know all the facts of this case, and it would appear that the dealer has had 3 attempts ,i would instruct a solicitor immediately,if it was me.M LOVES M'HOME wrote:Water ingress in New Auto-Sleeper Stanton

This is an expensive vehicle and will be well worth the money spent.
The end of the year is close and may effect the value due to depreciation.
My experience of other ways to go have all been very slow and stressful.

Oh dear, sorry to hear of your trouble.
My suggestion, if the Dealer is not up to snuff, is to contact Alan Curry at Auto-Sleeper.
See this recent thread:
https://www.autosleeper-ownersforum.com/t19383p25-high-moisture-reading-under-sink
It's only a couple of pages and is to do with poor build-quality and what to do about it. As you will see I contacted the CEO and received a good follow-up; the relevant bit of information is:
I have received a comprehensive reply from Alan Curry at A-S. He tells me that A-S do not routinely look at this forum.
In summary his advice is to take up any issues regarding build-quality with the supplying dealer, in the first instance and if agreement/satisfaction cannot be reached, to contact A-S, who will discuss the issues with the dealer, with the aim of reaching an equitable solution.
Please keep us updated.

Sorry to add this comment, but it looks like another one has slipped through the net.
Come on Autosleeper, pull your socks up, I would be blowing a gasket by now.

Re: Water ingress in new stanton
Just had a similar situation with a new car purchase. Paint defect and persistent intermittent technical faults neither the dealer or the manufacturer can resolve.
Car not fit for purpose and dealer has eventually replaced.
Hope you get it sorted.
