User manual 2013 Dorset
Does anyone have a copy of user manual for a 2013 Dorset please?
I have downloaded manuals from autosleeper but the fixture controls do not correspond to our model.
Water heater as simple mains or gas on off switch (2 levels for mains).
Space heater is gas not diesel and controls are not as shown in manual.
Fridge panel is different to manual.
Fitted with habitation aircon not in manual.
One of the reasons for asking is on our first trip, where we needing heating the gas/electric heating struggled to keep the van warm even though outside temp was 3 degrees
Air con shows heating mode but only gave out mildly warm air. With both systems on full we just kept warm.
Moving from a caravan where you could not have the heating on full even at -9 degrees without being in a sauna this is the first disappointment since changing earlier this year.

The advantage of a caravan over a motorhome is full double glazing whereas in low winter temperatures there is a significant chill factor emitting from the single glazed cab area. Have you an external screen cover to mitigate heat loss? Also if you have blown air heating, is it sufficiently hot immediately on exit from the internal vents?

The Dorset is a Symbol with some extras, I believe. DOes this 2013 Symbol Manual help?

yes we had an insulated screen cover, only one blown air outlet it was warm on mains hot on gas but never reached set temp.
the side windows did not feel cold.
if it could not cope with a normal autumn day our plans to use it over the winter when temp drops below freezing may be a non starter

thanks Peter this manual is for a later model with onboard gas, later control panel and combined water and heating controls,
i have a Dorset manual which is basically a symbol manual but with different weigh specs. but the appliances are not the ones fitted to our van, the ECC 155 panel is the same
