Autosleeper Trident Winter Cover? Empty Autosleeper Trident Winter Cover?

Post by C.J.Mylchreest Mon Sep 19, 2016 11:58 am

Hi,

As above really. I am after a good winter cover for our Trident, and a quick websearch doesn't show much up.

Can anybody recommend any worth considering?

Thanks.

Hi C. J.

Suggest you do a bit of research before spending your hard earned lolly.

There are quite strong and conflicting opinions about using covers. They do keep the roof clean, but there have been stories of chafing the van, encouraging damp, difficulty of putting on and taking off etc.. Plus the question, "Why would you want one anyway on a non-corroding bodywork?"  How accurate are these tales I don't know, but worth considering perhaps.

If your van has lasted this long without one . . . . . !!

Just home from Cirencester BTW. Lovely town and we always enjoy it there. The chinese takeaway we had last night was delicious . . . when we finally found our way in the car, with the main street dug up!!!!
