Winter Cover Empty Winter Cover

Post by John Leary Mon Sep 19, 2016 2:27 pm

I'm wanting to buy a winter cover for my 1999 T4 Trident Autosleeper.
Does anyone know where I get such a cover?

hellowave from Worcester. Look at the latest post in van conversions there's a post going on about Trident covers at the moment and perhaps introduce yourself in the Welcome section at the top. You'll get more replies if you do.

I fitted a cover to my previous van (Westfalia T25) and was the worst thing I did.

Took it off in spring and the paintwork was noticeably damaged from the fine dust that manages to get underneath. Had to give it a good T-cut to get it looking ok again which isn't what you want to be doing every year as you're thinning the paintwork each time.

Also there is potential for moisture to be held under the cover and do more damage.

I simply keep the MH outside now and routinely air it etc.
