96-99 Duetto Fridge 12V Fuse location
OK,
My Electrolux RM4212 Fridge works off hookup/Gas but not on 12v (when engine is running).
The handbook is very 'generic' it says its adjacent to the leisure battery under the drivers seat, but (as everyone knows) the Duetto leisure battery is under the bonnet, with no fuse box adjacent.
Does anyone know where the fuse located ?
Thx for any help in advance.

There have been a few threads on this here before which it would be worth searching for, as IIRC some have very good photos. But the main problem is that Ford changed the underbonnet layout several times, and A/S changed the location regularly too.
However, typically you will find the fuse adjacent to the ~vehicle~ battery - sometimes above and behind, sometimes they can drop down behind, and on more recent Mk5's Ford fitted a plastic box above the vehicle battery (on the left) which can accommodate fuses - that is where mine was on my '99 van.

Thanks MOJO,
I've search the threads to no avail.
There's a fuse box under steering wheel which looks like all the usual vehicle fuses.
There's a black rectangular box to the right & slightly bellow the vehicle battery (not the leisure battery), directly underneath the brake reservoir. This has 3 fuses.
Above the vehicle battery, right in the corner of the engine bay there is a loom with a connector that has 3/4 fuses in it, its a little awkward to get at.

That's the one. At least it is on mine. Damn stupid place to stick it too as it's prone to getting wet in heavy rain.

Thanks Bulletguy. We have the same van, so yes, that must be the one. You are also right, I think the rain got in there & thats whats happened.
