Replacing window Empty Replacing window

Post by newforester Wed Jun 22, 2016 10:09 pm

In my Peugeot Boxer Harmony Autosleeper, the window by the cooker is cracked, has water inside and it and doesn't open.  I need to replace it but can't find anywhere in the Hants/Dorset area where I can get it done.  Can anyone help?

Apart from being extremely lucky and finding a second-hand one, there is really only one supplier who will make you one to pattern...

Thank you for the info, Paulmold.  I'm getting the feeling that it might be expensive but I'll ask them for a quote.  Cheers.

newforester: I'd be interested in your further feedback. The kitchen window in my Duetto is also cracked and I would like to replace it.  I, so far, have had no success in sourcing one.

Paulmold: thanks from me, too, I was unaware of this company.

Thanks Paulmold for that windows link.
Have made a note of that, in case I need it, because if I do, I shall not be able to find it...S*ds Law.... Whistle1
"Her indoors" has complained about the fly & bug cemetery, in the habitation door window, due to the loss of two plugs in the plastic double glazing falling inside the unit, some time prior to getting vehicle.
Still looking to the possibility of enlarging the holes, and sucking the out with thin tubing, and vacuum cleaner, but not sure of drilling and enlarging holes, as in my experience....drilling plastic = melted hole.
If it does, I may need a new one.       hugegrins
