Peugeot Boxer Nuevo II A/S
Hi everyone, not had the above van long but the auto hold(VW term) on this vehicle worked when I bought it but recently stopped for no apparent reason. I'm not too bothered about it as a feature but would like to use it if possible. Because the thing uses the stability control system to hold the vehicle, I'm a bit concerned that the fault could be somewhere in there but not giving a fault symbol in the display? I have a feeling it could just be a setting in the electronics.
Any help would be much appreciated

The Nuevo II the same as mine is the X250 model and as far as I am aware never had hill start assist. I understand it is available as an option on the new facelifted model.

What Moggie said.
I had a Nuevo II and if it had hill start assist I wasn't aware of it.

Thanks everyone, this one definately had hill start for around 2-3 weeks before vanishing! So, I'll go see the dealer.
Thanks again.

Have to admit ploughlin, it did cross my mind when we bought it but as we still had 40 miles to go and no flames appeared, I relaxed a bit ha ha!PLOUGHLIN wrote:Are you sure the brakes were not binding?
