Nuevo rear n umber plate lights
Just established that local Peugeot dealer is unable to provide replacement lights as the bulb holders are corroded . Does any member have any experience of such a problem? Is it a simple DIY job once the bulb holders are purchased or is it a more complex job. Warranty by the way has just terminated! Thanks

Thanks for that link. I'll give AS a ring tomorrow to see if they can supply replacement parts. They were able to promptly supply other parts I ordered recently. Best wishes

Dave,
Might be a bit late now but........
The number plate lights are standard Jokon or Hella units - 90mmm x 30mm.

Replacement is quite straight forward - unscrew the two screws and out it comes.
Getting the lucas spade clips to come off intact requires a bit of the old WD40 and a bit of waggling without breaking the wire.
After the first one, I used an electrical screwdriver to open up the clip and then squashed it back down for the new unit.
Say, 15 minutes the whole job.

Job done! e mail to AS to enquire if they could supply replacement and if so at what cost. Quick reply from AS then telephoned to arrange payment. Parts received within 24 hrs of sending e mail. Had to cut off connectors and replace in view of extent of corrosion.
