New Nuevo and Broadway Rear lights
I've been perusing the mags, drooling over the latest Nuevos and Broadways and noticed the curved layout of the rear lights, which are fairly high up on the sides of the vehicles.
As our 'van never travels without bikes on the back, I'm just wondering if the new lights are placed so that they would be extremely difficult for other drivers to see, unless they were directly behind the 'van.
Any views?
Come to that, is it still possible to actually fit a bike rack to the rear of the new models?

As part of 'construction & use regulations' I always believed that there was a designated height from the ground?
The vehicle design must have passed the legislation though to be on the road.

Found this which would suggest that it's the light emitted pattern that's critical:

Hi Nuevoboy
Just to let you know that we have just fitted a bike rack to a new Broadway EK and it goes on fine with the wheels clearing the lights ok. Not done one on the Nuevo yet but I will try and let you know if we do. Cheers Mark.

Re: New Nuevo and Broadway Rear lights
Thanks for your reply...and good to know someone's got a bike rack on their pristnie new motorhome.
I expected that the wheels would "clear" the lights, certainly when viewed from behind.
I was just concerned that from any oblique angle, the furthestmost lights would be hidden.
If someone could lend me a Broadway EB to try out....

We have a bike rack fitted to our 2012 Nuevo and all seems well. The lights are quite visible.
