My AS Trophy is a bit dim!
We have had our 1994 Trophy for 4 months now and love it ..... we haven't done much night driving until recently but now that the evenings are becoming darker we've found that the headlights are really dim.
"Which" magazine recommend that car drivers upgrade to more efficient bulbs and recommend Osram Night-Breaker+90 Halogen bulbs. Is it OK to fit them to our van? I don't want to blow the system.
Looking forward to hearing your opinions

Hi
Some of the older T4s have notoriously dim headlights. Some thing to do with the long length of the wiring loom.
Check this link to Ebay for a Headlight loom upgrade.

Re: My AS Trophy is a bit dim!
When we went to the isle of wight last year we drove late at night (first time driving long distance in our T4 at night) and I could barely see the road in front of me, it was shocking and actually got quite scary to the point I had to reduce my speed considerably !!
As soon as I got home the first thing I did was replace the bulbs for a pair of Osram Night Breakers and the difference was HUGE, best money I ever spent! If you cant get the Night Breakers consider a pair of the Phillips Xtreme Vision I have a set of these in my work van and they too are good but I think the Osram bulbs have the edge
Here is a review for the Night Breakers [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
We've had no problems with our headlights & they don't drain any more power than standard bulbs, only thing is they tend to get hotter than standard bulbs but no where near enough to cause any damage, we've been running ours for the last 14 months without any issues
