What are music festivals like in Europe? Empty What are music festivals like in Europe?

We go to about 5-6 music festivals in the UK each year.  We like the mix of music, traders, comedy, theatre, talks at some of them etc.  My wife's under the impression that Euro music festivals - Rock Werchter and Pukkelpop are 2 that spring to mind, are full-on just music with nothing else of interest.  Who's actually been to some?
