Music festival on the continent?
We've done a number of music festivals - Glastonbury etc - in the UK, and I'd like to find a campervan friendly, not too far to travel, say France, Belgium etc. Where have you all been?

We haven't got a vehicle that we can rely on to take us abroad so we do Wychwood, Cornbury, Sidmouth folk week and Towersey as volunteer stewards. We work for Wicked Events doing 5-6 hours a day in return for our ticket. We get a 1xmorning, 1xafternoon, 1xearly evening and 1xlate evening shift over 4 days (Thurs to Sunday) but you can do 2 or 3 days. No overnight shifts. Wicked do other festivals but they are not on dates we can do.The lineups are not quite Glasto though!

Hi marc, I can recommend this one, C'est Magnifique. Depends on your musical taste I guess !

Re: Music festival on the continent?
Hi there,
Back in 2013 we didn't so much "go" to a music festival in Finland as it came to us because we were camped next door.
The magic was that in mid-summer there is 24 hours of daylight so music at 3am is no more intrusive than music at 3pm.
If you want something closer to home then I suggest that you check around the 21st June which is when they put on loads of festivals.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
