T4 Trident Upholstery
Hi,
I need to make a repair to the seat in my Trident. Does anyone know where I can source the upholstery that has been used in my van please?

Hi. Try Regal Furnishings at Ilkeston, Derbyshire. Their telephone number is 0115 932 9988. I believe they used to supply/do work for A/S and they may be able to help.

Re: T4 Trident Upholstery
The fabric looks the same as that fitted to my 2002 Auto-Sleeper Duetto - suggesting it might have been used quite widely around that time?
(I'd also be interested to learn of a fabric source - just in case it is ever needed.)

Hi there , We had new curtains made for our Duetto by Whalin Opholstery . They are just west of the M1 near Nottingham. They have a web site for contact.

Re: T4 Trident Upholstery
Hi, what is the damage that needs repairing? Is the fabric ripped or is it just a split seam? Quite often these things can be repaired.

There is a hole the driver's seat, maybe it's wear and tear or someone has sat on it with something in their back pocket.

Re: T4 Trident Upholstery
Is there a reason you want to use the same fabric, rather than something different?

I had my upholstery renewed by regal furnishings and would not advise people to use them. I found that when I next used my Trident that the door under the "larder" would not fully open, the blinds catch badly due to the foam/bench seat being too wide, the bed will no longer lock in the "sitting" position, and the white foam cover can be seen through the covering material on the two front seats!
Quality otherwise is good - but as they used to be the upholsterer for AS I would expect a better job.

I wanted to use the same material as I only need to patch a small hole. One day I intend to renew the upholstery when funds permit.
