Trident Zig Unit
Does anyone know what model of zig unit I have in my Trident? There are no instructions in with the information I have been given with the van.

Re: Trident Zig Unit
I believe that is an MES panel, the same as in my Nuevo. Is there something you need to ask?

I was hoping to source a PDF copy of the instructions if you or anyone has them please?

Re: Trident Zig Unit
I'm away until Sunday. Will see if I have details when back home if no-one else helps in the meantime.

Re: Trident Zig Unit
I have experience of three of these units and do not recall seeing instructions anymore helpful than merely identifying each switch.
Master controls (on/off) all 12v habitation equipment. The 12v supply to the fridge when running the engine is unaffected by this switch.
Hab/Vehicle chooses which battery to charge when on ELH and to read individual battery voltage. It is a rocker switch and the centre position shares the charge between both batteries and is rather inefficient. Better to leave it on Hab unless the Vehicle battery is in trouble.
The other switches are self explanatory!
I'm sure other members will have comments to add to this.

Re: Trident Zig Unit
The water level (shared dial with battery state) is also very unreliable. With ours it needs to be held for at least 30 seconds during which time it may drop twice. It does not have a variable scale but seems to only have a full, half full and nearly empty reading.
