Duetto fridge
Good morning has anyone got a picture or wiring diagram for a duetto gas fridge ? Just want to check as the new part is not sparking despite power going to it .

Re: Duetto fridge
Hi there,
Few things to check:
1. Is everything turned on to allow gas to get to the fridge?
2. Have you left it long enough for the gas to get through the pipework?
3. Is it really not lit? (One I had on a boat was the very devil to see!)
4. Finally, the slightest bit of soot or rust can block the nozzle or deflect the gas flow so that it doesn't hit the spark!
Ah, the joys of motorhome ownership eh!!??
Hope this helps!
Best regards,

Update as of yesterday.
Replaced the sparking unit with one of these.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Nice spark but no ignition.Had a look at getting the burner unit out as rust and soot is a known problem but decided to get this chap do do it.

£65 pounds and about an hour removing, stripping down and cleaning including a nifty 2ft long flue cleaning brush, the fridge is working great on gas. The whole assembly was filled with black soot and judging by the effort needed to take it apart had never been cleaned in 21 years.

Glad it's sorted ....
.... 21 years of use and abuse will do that to a fridge!!

Re: Duetto fridge
Maybe I shouldn't admit to this but I never could see a spark or a flame when our fridge was on gas. Lit it as per instructions and the ticking noise stopped and the fridge got cold. Some times it made a pop as it lit.
Having returned from distant travels and intending to up routes to Whitby this weekend I decided to give the van a spruce up including cleaning the fridge and making sure everything worked as it should.
Whist in the head in fridge position I had a good wipe around the little viewing window at the back. Now I see a little blue flame and its getting chilly in there. A homer moment I think and yes we do keep the fridge clean, just not that little window.
All we have to do now is get muttly out of the van. He thinks we are going now not Friday !!!.
