Cleaning interior
The hinges and wood surfaces(edges and surrounds) need some attention! hinges rusty, wood fading! Any suggestion for cleaning and varnishing would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Cleaning interior
Don't varnish the panelling, its hot-pressed wood-effect vinyl onto thin ply.
The only 'wood' is the edging, try wire wool & then it can be varnished or oiled.
As for the hinges, difficult to clean up rust, so I'd replace with similar brass-plated ones.

Re: Cleaning interior
I cleaned my brass hinges on the sink worktop, very carefully with a brillo pad, came up like new I then polished with a silicon surface clean/polish, did it just the once and they still look good.
The wood edges, I used Danish Oil
