So this weekend I thought I would look at some newer vehicles and try and get away from the rusty campers.

So I looked at a ten year old Symbol.  Spot on interior and probably the best I have seen.

No Mot as it had a hole in the sill!  It has lived on the coast and has been subject to salty sea air.

I am starting to think about coach built now, as there are not many good old boxers left out there.

I know the rust can be cut out and new metal put in there.  But the labour in taking the camper to bits would be awful.






Offside Front Shock absorber has a serious fluid leak (2.7.3)

Offside Rear Mechanical brake component has restricted free movement (3.5.1k)

Nearside inner sill Seat belt anchorage prescribed area is excessively corroded (5.2.6)

Nearside outer sill Seat belt anchorage prescribed area is excessively corroded (5.2.6)

Offside Front sill Seat belt anchorage prescribed area is excessively corroded (5.2.6)

Offside Rear sill @ out rigger Seat belt anchorage prescribed area is excessively corroded (5.2.6)

Offside Rear Suspension spring mounting prescribed area is excessively corroded (2.4.A.3)

Brakes imbalanced across an axle (3.7.B.5b)
