propex Heater
Hi
So I have a VW T4 Trident (petrol), just purchased a propex hs2000 and the heater is twice as big as I thought it would be, has anyone fitted one of these and if so where have you put it?
Thanks in advance
Chris

Re: propex Heater
...all my A/S T4's had it already fitted, underneath the big cupboard in front of the wardrobe - beneath a false floor.
I would imagine a difficult place to retro-fit one.
One vehicle I did see once had it fitted in the gas locker....and the gas cylinder was placed outside the locker, in the "boot" - quite dangerous and illegal, it has to be in a sealed compartment for obvious reasons.
You will probably be aware of the VWT4 Forum, possibly someone else has had the same problem.

Yes I looked at fitting it in the usual place but means moving plug sockets which can be done just unsure how big a job it would be, I've considered making a box and installing in the n/s of the boot but spare wheel is in the way.
Thanks for your input though :-)

Re: propex Heater
...how about trying A/S themselves ?
Nobody knows better than the people who have been fitting them for years.
I've always found them very helpful, even for older vehicles.
They will want details of the vehicle - including the build number, which is usually on the inside side of the glovebox.
