fresh water filler...peugot van conversions
fair bit of chat about this topic....significant that A S have reverted to simple fail safe system of just inserting hose or water container in filler cap.
good riddance to complicated set up on 2014 models.
at last i dont need a doctorate in electrics to fill our van up !!
happy days.
ps if any A S owners get flashed on UK motorways by double deck warburtons artic (bright orange ) its me !1

I think they've not got rid of the Whale - they've simply added an old fashioned 'ole for an 'ose pipe.

Thank goodness for that - the whale system should be sent back where it came from WHALES

Our 2014 Warwick Duo (not the XL model) has both the Whale (on the driver's side) and the simple hose in the hole filler (on the passenger side). It was a £30 option at order time.

That sound interesting but why offer an alternate filling system? Seems as if they realised he inconvenience of the Whale System.Spospe wrote:Our 2014 Warwick Duo (not the XL model) has both the Whale (on the driver's side) and the simple hose in the hole filler (on the passenger side). water filling
come on you lot, this is a fair effort by AS and Whale to prevent contamination of water tank which may occur shoving the old hose down the tube.

Sorry can't agree, how many people have been poisoned by contaminated water in their water tank? Most people take bottled water for drinking and if they use water from the tank it is boiled and used in hot drinks. All other water is used for washing, so the simplest and easiest filling system is what is requirednarrow escape wrote:come on you lot, this is a fair effort by AS and Whale to prevent contamination of water tank which may occur shoving the old hose down the tube.

Hi I agree +1. Normamandsue.
However due to those scare stories that come up ,people worry about water abroad. Some worry about hose material etc
Its more profit for the motorhome manufacturers to provide extras
Look how many people only use bought bottle water to drink.
My wife uses a water filter!!
I remember drinking stream water when i was thirsty in the 50's.Still alive.
Regards
Micky
