Novice New Members
Hello to all Autosleeper owners. My wife and I are completely new to Motorhoming and don't pick up our Orian Gemini up till mid November. However we are looking forward to this new hobby. The wife retired in April at the grand old age of 53 whilst being 'slightly' older, I'll retire in December. We're really excited about picking up the Motorhome from our excellent Dealer in Maidenhead, SMC, who couldn't have been more helpful. Obviously slightly apprehensive about driving this large vehicle and learning the ropes when we make our first stop at a proper site. But I guess that's all part of the fun. Our first port of call looks like being Bath and we think we've found a good site close to the town. I'll post our findings after we've been there. Looking forward to reading some if the posts.

Sorry I should also have said that my wife's name is Jackie and I am Colin. We really enjoy visiting historic towns and places of interest. It will be nice, after being NT members for many years, to actually make good use of our membership and visit many Stately Homes in the UK. Who knows, we may even venture abroad at some point - ohhhhh scary!

From Warrington
I think you will enjoy using your van, don't worry about the size the Tranny is a dream to drive. Is it a Mk 7 2007 on or a Mk6 up to 2007
I was going to get Gemini but ended up with the Windsor very similar van different layout.
The National Trust is fine as most of the car park scan accommodate our size of vans

Hi Jackie & Colin
Welcome to the forum from Bridlington, we exchanged our 09 Nuevo for a Sigma back in August, we found the dealership ( SMC Taplow) very good to deal with and replaced the items I found unsatisfactory or not working.
They replaced the Omnistor awning, Cobra cruise control, and fitted two new front tyres.
My advise is to check everything before the handover Colin.
