Nuevo roof vent
Hi,
Does anyone know where I can get replacement lugs for a push-up roof vent? The little lugs in the handle, which hold the vent closed. I can't believe one would have to replace the whole unit, just for a lug, or, failing that, a replacement handle. Marquis say that Auto Sleepers cannot help. Hope someone on here can!
Many thanks

Re: Nuevo roof vent
That's the stupid bathroom vent isn't it? One of the clips has broken on mine as well and I reckon I havd only opendd it twice!
And they leak debris - and get filthy between the two layers and are uncleanable.
Has anyone replaced with something better?

My 2006 roof vent doesn't have any lugs, it just stays shut with the resistance of the springs. Does yours need the lugs?

Re: Nuevo roof vent
As it is the rear lug that has broken, I had already decided to ignore it till I saw this thread!Paulmold wrote:My 2006 roof vent doesn't have any lugs, it just stays shut with the resistance of the springs. Does yours need the lugs?

Lugs again
Many thanks for the replies. I phoned the helpful Alan in the AS parts department and he told me the vents are made by a German company called MPK. I went to my local caravan dealer to have a closer look at one of these vents (it's a bit uncomfortable trying to do this in situ!) and guess what? I found a packet of 4 handle replacements, including lugs and springs for £9.99. Lucky or what?
