Wet feet in shower!
Hi All,
Warwick Duo 2011 is in it's second year of ownership. It's sort of fun finding things out.
Like one of our folding chairs falling onto the toilet rinse button and filling the toilet and shower floor in pink fluid.
Like not draining the waste tank before setting off and ending up with grey water coming up through the shower drains wetting the foam mat.
Now one tends not to look down when entering the 'bathroom' so the first one knows about 'the flood' is when there's a scream (from the wife), followed by a certain amount of banging and crashing as she struggles to leave in a hurry. For some reason she didn't seem to like me laughing at her predicament.
Still I am sort of surprised there isn't some sort of one way valve or perhaps a 'U' bend in the two drains.
So now we make sure nothing can fall on the toilet flush and that we empty the grey water before we set off to destinations new.
Even having done that the last time we went out we ended up with a wet shower mat.
I now look down before entering the little room.

Oh dear, what a predicament, there is always lessons to be learnt, usually the hard way. My toilet flush doesn`t work when the engine is running.

Re: Wet feet in shower!
When I first bought my Clubman, I wondered why there was a plug in the drain of the shower tray. As it obviously served no purpose, out it came.
Needless to say, it's back in there now and I no longer have a wet mat in the loo!
Unless I've had a little too much vino and missed of course!.
Sorry - too much info there!

Re: Wet feet in shower!
We have our Sussex Duo for 18 months and I am pleased too see someone had the same experiences with the magical toilet/bathroom. Yep, grey water up through the plug holes, shower tap accidentally selected and filling the loo with water when turning on the kitchen tap, and that contraption known as a drawer always opening when going round corners.( not any more, it is now bolted!!) Stuffing tea towels in every part of the oven to stop the rattles, crawling around to detect squeaks/rattles while SWMBO drives but hey oh we have crackedit!! No noise/rattles/squeaks, but the down side is I can now not ignore SWMBO. Only joking of course. We have won!!!! Till next time we are out that is.

Re: Wet feet in shower!
I strongly recommend getting Whale non return vslves from CAK tanks. We had waste coming up into shower tray because the muppet design of the inlets to the waste tank being in the side of the tank guarantees that water will come up when cornering - left hand bends on mine! No more problems since fitting the valves - well not from the waste tank

Re: Wet feet in shower!
Fortunately I haven`t had this problem, then again I empty my waste tank before leaving site. less to carry as well.
