Renault alarm / immobiliser Empty Renault alarm / immobiliser

Apologies if this has been dealt with before. I've just aquired a Renault Rimin which has a keypad for an alarm or immobilser or something. Does anyone know if this was a standard fit on a 91 Renault Trafic or more likely to be an after market addition? Thanks. shrugg
