Access to rear lights on Transit Duetto Empty Access to rear lights on Transit Duetto

Post by edmason Tue Aug 05, 2014 11:14 pm

Can anyone advise me how to access the rear light bulbs on the early type (cream) Transit Duetto? The bulbs & lenses obviously are fitted from inside the van, but the shower compartment blocks access on the near-side, and the fridge on the off-side. There must be an easy solution, but I'm missing it! Thanks.

Hi.  wave

You need to feel you way around a bit but it’s not as bad as it looks at first. scratch head

The offside light assembly is accessible through the fridge vent. Pop the screw caps off, remove the two screws and the vent comes off easily. Undo the two plastic wing nuts and the light assembly comes out.

The nearside assembly is accessible through an access panel in the rear washroom wall. You can see it when the back door is open.
