Hows your weather? Empty Hows your weather?

Hello

Is it just me or has the weather gone a tad of the mark? In the winter months it should be around -25 (not this year!!) when it has been around -10 to -15 with little or no snow, the spring has just rained and rained and for the last four weeks it has been almost +30 with no rain but very violent thunder and lightning storms. I know ol´blighty gets the first wave and then several days later we get something similar but I cant follow it this year. think_smiley_46

Hi there,

The only "hot and sticky" I like (nowadays anyway) is sticky toffee pudding and the last few days have been a bit "close" as my Mum used to describe warm and humid weather.

I still prefer it to "wet and cold" though!!  allthumbz  allthumbz

Best regards,

Hows your weather?

I can not remember if it was the box or radio that I heard this from, perhaps some one can enlighten me, but some one commented that as our "air" was now cleaner we should expect more extremes of weather as this is what used to be regarded as normal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Somethings happened to my body this last 20 years or so, as I've REALLY been suffering from the heat & humidity, aircon flat out indoors, in the cars, windows wide open at night whilst lying on top of the bed.
Didn't USE to bother me, & in the late 70s & early 80s, I worked outside in Sharjah, dubai & Jebbel-ali & on the rigs where it hit 50-55 often & we had to hose down the equipment before touching it, but I can't handle it nowadays!!

One day I was driving across the desert in my Range-Rover when there was a humungus explosion & the entire car was filled with stuff/dust, the spare wheel, which was stashed in the right rear boot had blown up & disintegrated the back of the car & blew the rear & one side window!!
