VW T4 Side panel
The off-side rear blanking panel on our T4 is falling apart (cracked all around the edges). I know you can't get another from Auto Sleepers but I wondered if anyone knew of a suitable replacement or if there's a magic 'plastic' glue/filler that can be used to replace it. Underneath, the wood glued to the original window is quite rotten around the bottom edge so this needs to be replaced and the cracked cover/side panel fixed.
Any thoughts?
Best wishes
Richard

Re: VW T4 Side panel
Hi Richard, some people have done away with them altogether and got the window underneath tinted or filmed.
I sorted mine out last summer with some black CT1. It done the job as mine wasn't too bad. I replaced the timbers underneath and stuck them with CT1 too.
if you are unfamiliar with CT1, you can see it in use here:

Thanks Johnny. Watched their video... very impressive. I'll keep that up my sleeve. Going to see how the slightly damp and rotten plywood dries out over the next few days... if it can keep from raining.
