Hymer c514 waster tank sensor location
Hi Campers,Can anyone help me please.I have a Hymer C514 with both the fresh water and waste tank level indicator not working.I narrowed the fault down to the metal sensors on the freshwater tank been high resistance on the contacts. This is the kit i think i need
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] problem is i cannot locate sensors on the waste water tank underneath.I cant even see wires coming of it.Any help would be greatly appricated.

I don't think you will get much help here. This forum is for Auto-sleepers brand of motorhomes. I assume there may be a forum for Hymer owners.

I had the same problem on my 2001 Hymer B544. On that occasion it was the analogue meter that had gone U/S. Schaudt (in Germany) were able to do a repair for me much cheaper than Brownhills wanted for a new meter panel even after adding the costs of postage both ways for the panel.
If you have the panel with two analogue meters then send me a pm and I will find the details of Schaudt and the guy who helped me there.

Cheers for that inspiredron.I think the meter is alright cause when i short out the level indicator sensors on the fresh water tank the meter reads.

Well I really didn't think you would get help but there is a company in North Wales that specialise in Schaudt panels if you need it..
