Never having been happy with the idea of the water from the heater drain running down the side of the van I decided to do something about it while the weather was nice.

Hi Celticbiker.Should have drained that heater earlier, just in case. up!
Is that a plastic spout?
I notice you are wasting that water.
Nice polish on the van side though.

It was drained. wink02
This was done during the pre season flushing and cleaning of the water system. Done early this year because we are away for 3 weeks in April.
Yup it's a plastic spout. A piece of normal waste pipe cut in half and bonded with some adhesive or other I found lying around the workshop that was bought for bonding some pipework on a machine.
Yeh, it's being wasted, as was the other 150 litres, but I couldn't think of a use for water with chlorine in it.
As for the finish. It was pretty good when we got it but I did spend the best part of 40 hours cutting polishing and waxing it by hand. Still not happy with the roof though. It's clean, but I'm struggling to get the liquid gel finish that I'm after.
