Shower Curtain
Our shower curtain is not wide enough to reach all round the curtain rail, it measures 48", the rail being 54". Could someone measure the width of their curtain in a Nuevo as I don't want to order a replacement from AS if I'm going to get the same thing again. Replacing with a non-AS specific curtain is nigh on impossible as I can't find any that use the tiny hooks that need a top-edge tape, they all seem to be simple ring fittings. If you have any ideas on how to utilise a standard curtain to fit the 'swish' type rail, that would also be much appreciated.

Re: Shower Curtain
You can buy the tape and hooks from ebay, I bought extra when I bought my van and found a few missing, just search for curtain tape/hooks for caravans ,motorhomes, when I did there were loads on there.

Re: Shower Curtain
I had that sort of rail in my last van. The shower curtain rings fitted into the ring on the bottoms of the hooks.

Re: Shower Curtain
We managed to do that on the Symphony but these in the Nuevo are so small!! Need to find a curtain with thin metal rings instead of the thick plastic ones that most seem to have.

Paul
This is my wife's dept . She's done a number of these in different vans
The solution is it to find the right side of shower curtain, cut off the top edge with the rings, fold over and stitch the correct heading tape on. A/S sell this, as well as others places like ebay. Then just clip the heading tape onto the existing hooks.

Re: Shower Curtain
Wife doesn't have sewing machine any more. I've been to the local DIY shed and sourced some gliders to replace the existing hooks which have holes at the bottom so I can then use a form of 'S' hook to connect a curtain to the new gliders.

Re: Shower Curtain
Follow-up on the curtain.
Tried a couple of standard shower curtains but either too long or couldn't fit the rings onto the Swish hooks, so bit the bullet and ordered one from this company on Ebay. They will make any size you want with either ring fitting or header tape. Arrived today, fitted perfect, bit pricey compared with standard off the peg shower curtains but good quality nylon curtain, not plastic and made individually to order....
