Re: cotswold water pump
Can you be more specific. Do you mean that the water pump runs all the time when on battery and only switches off when you are externally connected to the 240v supply. I suspect you have a pressure switch problem but can understand how it only works with one supply and not the other. Did it work when you first had the motorhome which would rule out a wiring fault?

Re: cotswold water pump
If its anything like my Broadway FB water pump ( also on a '13 plate) running on is just the start. Mine started playing up after a couple of weeks. If I left the pump on overnight occasionally I would wake up and hear it running. Then after hours of adjustments, it started chattering before it stopped or took up to 30 seconds to stop running, or just carried on. I adjusted mine as the book says, while it is on reduced battery power only. I could never get rid of the chattering and when I plugged the mains back in, it would just keep running on.
Neither AS or my dealer could sort it and I eventually read about a fitting a Whale Surge Damper, which I did, and that has stopped the pump running on and chattering. In fact, it performs now as it did when new.
Just something to be aware of if it starts playing up in the future.
