Polish for a Pollensa
I want to give my 2002 Pollensa an Autumn clean up and have been told that Fary Liquid is not the best thng to use so I am looking for the correct stuff to use.

To do the job properly, you need different products for the cab (bonnet & side doors) for which conventional car cleaners and polishes are fine, and the conversion which requires products designed for fibreglass gel coat.
I am a fan of Meguiars who cover both types, the latter under their marine (boat/RV) sections.

The exact products needed will depend on the current state of your bodywork, whether it has oxidised and gone chalky for example and how it has been treated until now.
There are numerous guides and "How to" sections including videos on their website.
There products are not the cheapest but I believe them to be the best available.
I have no connection other than as a satisfied customer.

Re: Polish for a Pollensa
I joined the Meguiars Forum 24 hours ago but can still not gain access. I sent Meguiars a message asking for advice but they have not replied so I wonder if you can help.
I have learnt that washing up liquid does harm to paint work so I think that to do a proper job to a vehicle with a metal driving cab and a plastic or fibre glass body I need the following.
1. The correct cleaning material.
2. The correct polish for A. the driving cab. B. the body.
Could you suggest what I need and maybe Meguiars may even sell me it.
Many thanks.

I've not used Meguiars but the spec looks good and they have been recommended.
I am happy with what I use:
Fenwicks motorhome cleaner for the wash of the whole vehicle. Farecla G10 rubbing compound if finish needs restoring and Starbrite polish to finish.
The Fenwicks wash you should get from any caravan shop. Starbrite do a marine equivalent that you will get from most marinas, otherwise all are available via the internet.
Whatever products you choose you will need a lot of cloth and a lot of elbow grease - there is no easy way!
