New to the Forum
Hi everyone
We own a two berth Excelsior, sister to the Amethyst and use our m/home for visiting our old stamping grounds and friends and relatives in England. We live on the Isle of Skye and our trips South are very leisurely, two days to get to the Midlands. Our van is now 15 years old and the coach stripes are looking decidedly tired. Any ideas as to where identical replacements may be obtained? Presumably new stripes would go over the old ones.

Hi Graham welcome to the site you need to contact your local graphic sign makers ( Vitalsigns 2 Wentworth St Portree ) they will produce whatever you need perhaps if you get the strips a touch wider they will cover any fadeing on the join

Hi Graham
Welcome to the forum
Getting replacement stripes is not an easy task, Auto-Sleepers have limited stocks of the coach stripes last time I checked but you could always check with their parts dept? otherwise you could visit a signage company that does vehicle lettering who should be able to reproduce something very similar Stevomar had some created by a guy in Lincolnshire and I cant tell the difference (there is a pic posted on the forum somewhere) so that may be an option.
There is a site that reproduces the AS decal kits for the old VW Auto-Sleepers and they claim they can reproduce other decal / stripe kits, might be worth trying here: http://www.sleepydubs.co.uk/Replacement-Factory-VW-Camper-Graphics.html
There seems to be a big market for replacement AS stripes so I'm not sure why someone hasn't jumped on the bandwagon and produced a range for us owners of older vehicles, it's also a shame that AS don't support the older vehicles better with replacement stripes etc
You would need to remove the old decals first to get the new kit to adhere properly
