Replacement blinds Empty Replacement blinds

Post by Moraymaid Sat Aug 31, 2013 11:40 am

Hello everyone, it's been a great summer to start my campervan career! So havehad my VW T4 Autosleeper trident 1994, since march- I spent £800 getting rusty bits fixed around hook up and there's lots more where that came from! Also £500 on mechanics. Was going to sell but can't get a decent price, I'm really delighted as I love it! However it desperately needs new window covering of some description, the fly screens are falling apart/ missing and the curtains needs replacing. Has anyone any ideas about the the best long term solution - planning to use it over the winter! Thank you.

Hi Moraymaid
You could make new curtains and line them with thermal lining material. Use the old curtains as a pattern to get the sizes right and to work out how much material you will need. Matching tape and extra runners can be found on the internet with a bit of perseverance.
I have not had to repair the blind yet but Leisure Spares has replacement material.
