2001 petrol Symbol - average 23 mpg on holiday including motorway and lake district lanes and mountain passes. Average 25 mpg on rural NE Scotland roads at 50 -55 mph. Note that this with a gearbox running on an oil emulsion which contained about 30% rainwater!! We haven't been away in the van since I changed the gearbox oil.

Best rgds  smile!

HI 2L PETROL ,
I work on a 25 average. By the speedo figs i get 27mpg. but that will be over reading like most do.
Thats on a decent run. Around town short runs they are all poor whatever model.
I am not sure how this relates to weight. The best figures are found by using a light foot and good anticipation.
regards

You'll probably get less than this if you do a lot of mileage on the single trackers, all the stopping in passing places & setting off again doesn't help fuel economy.
