2006 nuevo chassis Empty 2006 nuevo chassis

Post by crimbo Thu Aug 08, 2013 5:38 pm

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if my 2006 Nuevo "older style cab" was fitted with the Sevel X250 chassis. This particular chassis as I understand being the one that was causing problems with the dreaded clutch judder?

I understand the old style Boxer was known as the X244. I also believe only the X250 suffered the clutch problem but I could be wrong.

2006 nuevo chassis Empty Think your OK

Good news and not so bad news. The old cab was built on the old chassis so should be OK, the change took place in 2006. Plus your 2006 will more than likely be a 2005 chassis as Auto sleeper have the vans in batches and then fit the motorhome bits to them. My 2005 Nuevo is built on a 2004 chassis, I know this because when I order spares for the engine or chassis they tell me its off a late 2004 model. Don't care as its registered on the 1st April 2005.
