advice and hello new member and camper
i have just got talbot express peugeot rambler gl 1993 . i am new to camping been on 3 camp sites and found camping fantastic. peole are so friendly and joined the caravan and camping club where the site staff are so helpful.
for all motorhome campers with similar van i would appreciate your advice.
i would like to find out how to obtain the small table that slides into the base for bed. also which bike rack would fit this motorhome and ? anyone has one to sell.

I had a caravan which used the table as part of the bed base. It was not ideal. My solution was to use the slats from a defunct single bed. They were made from slightly curved plywood, which are strong and with a bit of spring. These can be cut to length with hacksaw and any roughness removed with a file. When making up the bed put them in place with a 2" (50 mm) gap. Then cover with cushions as normal.
A refinement, which I never got round to making, would be to staple a length of tape/string/webbing at each side to save the effort of spacing the slats each evening.
