Re: Announcement
I would just like to thank everyone for your kind messages and for the donations some of you have made.
You may have noticed my absence on the forum for the last few weeks, as I felt the need to step back and reflect upon things and give myself some time out.
Unfortunately as a result of me being away from the forum there is a back log of members new and old who have had problems forgetting usernames and passwords or who have had other issues. I will try to go back through these lists to see if these members still require assistance but due to the volume it could take me a day or two to catch up. Please bare with me.
Anyone who has donated, has now had their member profile updated with a supporter badge, any orders for stickers will be dealt with and posted in the morning.
If anyone has made a donation or placed an order for stickers and feels we may have missed you out, please feel free to contact me directly to investigate and to rectify.
Thank You again for all your support.
Kind Regards

Re: Announcement
I have only just noticed this thread and am relieved that I missed it! I have enjoyed this forum ever since I first found it and would hate it to disappear. A huge THANK YOU to admin and, frankly, good riddance to those who have left without the courtesy of discussing their problems.
I do hope that the closer association with Auto-Sleepers will be helpful. Similarly with ASOC.
VERY GLAD AND RELIEVED THAT YOU ARE CONTINUING - THANK YOU

Re: Announcement
Well Cymro - I am puzzled, as have had no replies atall to my last few postings, which is making feel like I am doing something wrong or being too boring or inappropriate... now I am wondering ... surely its not cos I have an old van? I was very excited to find this forum as I love my new Autosleeper and thought that there would lots of common ground - and I have had some really useful help from the forum so maybe its just a quiet time? Really don't know what to think - keep checking in and have update a couple of my posts - but still no replies... what do you think?

Re: Announcement
Hi lotusanne,
You have a model that is not as common as mine which is a Symphony.
I expect few owners with a Legend are on this site.
Maybe posting under a different heading might help.
Any general questions on Motorhoming,i might be able to help ,or summon help.
regards
Mike

Hi Admin,
I'm pretty sure you know by now that we are all totally supportive of your efforts and that the contributions by everyone are highly valued.
The ultimate accolade arrived on my doormat this morning in the form of the latest ASOC newsletter highlighting the value of this forum over 3 pages no less (well 2.5 to be exact) written by the club treasurer who is also a contributor to ASOF.
Hope you can get a copy and frame it !
Best wishes,
Terry

Hi MIke, thanks for your reply, I appreciate it. I have posted on a few different threads, never mind, I am probably being over sensitive, but was genuinely worrying that I was saying or doing something wrongmikethebike wrote:Hi lotusanne,

Re: Announcement
It was designed to be humorous and encouraging - there is a whole wealth of information on here and some very very helpful people and above all, completely clique free which is just fine.......... Never be afraid to ask a question, no matter how daft it might sound. We are all here to help each other. Cheers and have a great weekend

Re: Announcement
Hi Lotusanne - I've not been on here very much lately so haven't seen your posts. I shouldn't give up - people are very helpful and lovely - I have asked some real 'look at me I have no idea what I am doing' questions and no one has ever made me feel stupid I think sometimes people look for specific things - for example I tend to look for Duetto topics. I am sure the age of your van isn't an issue - ours is '95. I think it's quite cool to have an older one
Just going to have a look for your other posts to see if there is anything I can help you with ...... not very likely though ....
best wishes, Denise

I've clocked your posts, but not being a Leg End owner I've tended to skip over them; sorry!
I will pay more attention in future!!

Margaret, I can echo that. Not the perfect layout (it usually never is) but pretty good build quality and a load on help on here when things do go awry. Waiting for some new vehicles on Al-Ko chassis.........

Re: Announcement
Hi. Keep up the good work! I fear you are experiencing the less attractive side of running something - a certain amount of criticism. It is SO much easier to complain and criticise and indeed some people make it their full time task to do just that. Modifying the well known quotation so that it does not fall foul of your very reasonably imposed bad language rules "Don't let the blighters get you down!!"
