Re: C&CC Sites Directory
I understand the logical sequence of working Northward down but how on earth they arrive at the sqaure divisions is beyond me as they dont seem to tie up with the national grid reference numbers ie SJ etc.
We used to use a site that most people considered and called after the town it was in but it fell into another C&CC square so it caused lots of confusion (if that makes sense)

I actually find it OK. The squares tie in with OS map sheet numbers but I admit I have no idea of the 'SJ' or such lettering after the grid reference but that doesn't seem to be an issue on CS's just club sites.

Re: C&CC Sites Directory
When the C&CC changed their website I wrote and complained (like many others) and the net result was a patronising letter back to say it was an enhancement. BS............ It is very slightly better now, but still a pain to use

Re: C&CC Sites Directory
I joined the Caravan Club this year and find their book so much easier to use but do wish the map wasn't (a) separate from the book and (b) quite so large.
I do wish the C&CC would get their act together like other map books and put arrows and numbers on the edges of the pages so you know which one comes next. I find it rather irritating having to go back to the key map to find which page is the next in sequence because the sheet numbers don't follow on.
Nothing's perfect I suppose.

Re: C&CC Sites Directory
Not to mention having to have the page open on the listings of the map you are looking at, with one finger of the right hand holding the map page open and then a finger of the left hand holding the page where the pricing letters are
Yes as you can gather we lost that blooming separate card months ago
