Fridge Fuse Location
Hello,
Just prepping my van before heading off to Spain next week, I recently had a toad alarm fitted in Wakefield and ever since then the fridge has refused to work on 12v. I've searched high and low for the fuse but I've been unable to find it, thinking that would be my first port of call. I will probably try phoning auto-sleeper tomorrow but thought I'd try the oracle that is the Auto-Sleeper forum first.
Also, any suggestions on a toll-free run from Calais down to Reus? I'm finally on gardening leave before I retire in September from the Army. My wife and my 3 year old Daughter will be flying out there to meet me for our two months in the sun.
Thanks in advance
Kristian

Have you looked in the engine compartment next to the battery? I don't know your specific van, but at the time your van was made that's where AS normally fitted them.

Thanks for the swift reply, I did look there and found a fuse that was intact albeit a little corroded, I think I my manual shows a 30a fuse. I'll try giving it a clean and see if that works.
Thanks again

Re: Fridge Fuse Location
If memory serves correctly, there should be a 30A fuse for all electric supply from vehicle to habitation (i.e. split charge and fridge) and then a separate (possibly 20A) fuse specifically covering the fridge. In some cases I think the 20A fuse (and another serving the charging of the leisure battery) was near to the leisure battery.

Mojo,
I will have another good look tomorrow to try and locate my 20 'ampers.
Thanks

Backtrax,

Cheers
