This weather is amazing

Don't know how everyone else is finding the weather in their location but it's blinking amazing here....

We've had really good weather for sometime, but today is bootiful as we say here in Norfolk!

Crackin weather here too! spend the day cutting out the old mold from the rear of the van, had a BBQ yesterday afternoon, still cool at night .
Plenty of tourists heading for the camp sites, my signal to head west.

Just come back inside from cutting the lawn

I'm now about to get on the roof of our Nuevo to give it a polish of Meguiars marine wax, did the overcab part at the weekend using two pairs of steps and a scaffold board across and it leaves an amazing finish, thought it looked pretty good before but the difference is quite remarkable, definitely recommend it to others over Farecla from now on.

No grass here, just brick blocks and gravel, my van roof gets a wash, I used to polish the symbols roof, but since I fell of the Nuevo last year I only concentrate on the bits I can reach from my podium.
Looks like a nice day tomorrow, so will head up the coast to Filey for the day, Maisie my Border terrorist likes to chase rubber balls all day and I'm happy to throw them.

Well we were down the 'Secret tunnels' at Dover Castle

We live about 50yards from the beach so this afternoon we went and had coffee down on the greens ward. It is the first time this year it has been warm enough to do this and it was beautiful.

I also played a few slow marches and a lament for the three lads who have just lost lives in Afghanistan,may they rest in peace.

Terrible waste of life....

David Cameron annoyed me last night when he said "We" have suffered in Afghanistan, it should have been "Our Troops" have suffered

Time we pulled out and left them to it, too many of our young lads pointlessly lost to the scourge of those cowards

Another beautiful sunny day with clear blue sky here in North-East Wales. Just wish the temperature would rise to match. Reached the dizzy heights of 15 degrees yesterday, but only 10 at the moment, maybe it will warm up a bit this afternoon.

The 'Secret' tunnels, include where 'Operation Dynamo' (Dunkirk Evacuation) was controlled from (I have a personal interest here, as my Father's Cousin was killed (along with three others) when their Fishing boat hit a mine on their way back, after helping save so many Troops from the Beach.

Another Tunnel (open to the Public) was the Wartime Hospital.

'Dumpy' level (the lowest) is not normally open to the Public, but as English Heritage members we will go down there at some stage (rarely open and a fee applies)

There are also Medieval tunnels, but these are closed (for repair) at the moment.

We have been to Dover Castle many times and always find something new ..... It's vast !!

Ditto!! If the British Raj and the Russians failed to sort out Afghanistan then it's a waste of time trying; but if history teaches us anything it's that politicians NEVER learn!

With regard to the weather, here in Skegness it's like sitting in front of a blazing fire in a cold house; one side is warm and getting suntanned and the other is frozen and getting goosebumps!

Still, lovely weather all the same so let's not complain!!

Well, this 'amazing' weather, the last 2 days anyway, I managed to completely re-spray one of the big sheds, & then today, I managed to re-spray the second one.
Now this might not sound all that 'exiting' but believe me, its one of those jobs that's been put on the back-burner for the last couple of years & been bugging me bigtime, each shed consumed 5l of water based preservative & they both came up like new

Trouble is, there's a THIRD one that needs 'doing' as well
