Mounting TV in Cabinet in Nuevo
As some of you will know I've tried locating a suitable TV mount to fit a TV in the cabinet above the worktop in our Nuevo for some time... Eventually I gave up and just sat the TV inside the cabinet with the standard set stand which did the job. Well, I finally found a suitable bracket over the weekend at the P'boro show, amazed that for such a large show the only brackets I could find were an Avtex single arm or this one, it was £25 but really well made and I had a good idea in my head that it would be suitable as the arm was not as long as many I've found and it's reasonably lightweight being made of aluminum.
Cant give many details on the actual arm other than the Model No DWD1050 as pictured on the box, our LCD TV is quite bulky as it incorporates a DVD player, so for a slimmer set it would work even better. Used M6 Allen Socket Button Bolts and dome nuts for a stronger fixing and nicer look.
Well pleased with the viewing options (see photos) offered by the arm.

Excellent!
I being dumb fitted mine on the other side of that bulkhead (is that what it is?) but I saw yours went outside unbolted it and put the bracket where you have yours (using the same holes) - a much better job!
incidentally we have the same TV as you - bought as a cheapo in a nameless discount shop that you dont have to be rich(er) to buy stuff in - runs great on an unstabilized 12v supply

Thanks Raymondo...
I thought about both options but decided it was best on the right side, as it can come straight out or go around the side of the unit so its out of the way and clears the worktop for making drinks and preparing snacks
Agree the Visual Innovations TV is a cracking little set... Shame Richer Sounds no longer do them, for £99 it certainly couldn't be beaten... I don't use the transformer, just fitted a 12v plug on the 12v input lead and plugs straight into the 12v socket beneath which reduces the wire clutter. When it gives up the ghost I'll go with Avtex but while it operates as well as it currently does then I'm happy waiting.

RE MOUNTING TV
That's a real pro job we have the older EK Nuevo 2006 so the bulk head is not as wide as on newer models and has an extra shelf , decided to put cantilever bracket on the opposite wardrobe bulkhead , added 240v socket inside wardrobe and routed antenna cable using existing trunking in wardrobe to outside of van ( I use a pole mounted antenna ) to outside socket so I can use site T V or my own antenna .The T V is mounted about eye level when seated, its 19" with DVD player so fits above the bench seat when its fully raised and just below the charger / control unit. A full length alloy plate was used for extra support for the bracket .
