Fresh water fill overflow on Symbol
Hello! I'm a newby and have just got myself a 2005 Autosleeper Symbol.
Topped up with fresh water via the offside inlet and when full, instead of the excess pouring out of the side, the excess water ended up in a puddle underneath the vehicle. Seems that the water is escaping from the top of the water tank as far as I can see. Spent two days away and there was plenty of water in the system, and no further puddles. Is this how the overflow system works?... or do you think I have a leak in the top of the water cylinder? Any help most welcome. Thanks!

I am sure that the overflow is on the top of the tank.
It is on my Harmony.
It's supposed to do that so don't worry.
As you are a 'newbie' how about an introduction

my 2010 Broadway has a Truma system which if you use the hose to fill, does overflow from an open pipe in the top of the fresh water tank.

There are vent holes in the top of the tanks. The overflow is the best way to tell the tank is full.

Hi
My Symbol overflows from the top of the tank when overfill. Also the the water level gauge inside the van gives erratic reading if it is overfilled.
