Nuevo control panel
Does anyone know why the touch screen control panel in my autosleeper nuevo (2007) keeps turning itself off for no apparent reason.

Could this be an inbuilt energy saving feature possibly? I really don't know to be honest.... We have a few Nuevo owners here so you should get some advice, does anyone else have any thoughts or comments that may help sloopcaptain?

Thanks for the suggestion but I don't think its an energy saving device as it happens on and off of electric hook up and at random times, sometimes after as little as 30 minutes, other times as long as 12 hours.

Re: Nuevo control panel
I havnt seen this particular panel in the Nuevo's however it sounds like one I saw in an Autocruise van yesterday where the chap was telling me about inconsistant operation. I couldnt help him and suggested he contact Sergent who make them and have a very good record on looking after users. Somewhere in the manual or on the mains unit you should see Sergents name, if it is contact them and they will advise.

Thank you for your suggestion. I have looked in the manual but cannot see any reference to this type of problem. I have contacted Autosleepers and they suggested rebooting the system by disconnecting it, but this didn't work so I have now booked the van into Autosleepers for them to look at next week.

Re: Nuevo control panel
Problem solved Autosleepers diagnosed the problem as a corroded connection in the wiring harness somewhere underneath the van - repaired in just over an hour. Thanks for all your suggestions.
