New the forum
Hi, we are Gary & Lynne, we live in suffolk but spend alot of time in cornwall. We love just being out and about so we think an autosleeper would suit our needs. We do not know much about them but we think we would like something like a talisman. The children are grown up and they prefer to be at home or at friends so its just for the two of us. we are happy to travel to find something but our budget is very limited as we are just starting on our journey. we are in our 50's so slowing down in life but still enjoying it. please let us know if you are aware of anything that might be available or advice on autosleepers, thank you

Hi Gary and Lynne, Welcome to the forum
Talismans are lovely vans, a bit too big for my needs though. Hope you find what you're looking for.

Re: New the forum
You wouldnt go far wrong with a Talisman, particularly in Cornwall as the monocoque shells are narrower than conventional build and will suit the Cornish roads more

Welcome guys.
We too love Cornwall. In our 50's too and looking for the ideal work/life balance! Bought a 2000 Medallion last year, and have just returned after 3 months winter touring in Spain. The van was brilliant. Apart from a water leak past the side window into the habitation area which we have taped temporarily until resealed next week. Other than that, a couple of minor issues which are always gonna crop up, we are very pleased with it. It feels roomy enough, plenty of storage space, good kitchen appliances and space. It drives and handles lovely, even around the zillion french roundabouts. My only criticism is that it is sluggish on extended inclines, but have no comparables as this is our first motorhome. Finally I would say that the monocoques do seem to turn a few heads, maybe its the smooth rounded lines of the bodywork and the unusually large windows........ have fun
