hi everyone from northants
i holiday with my wife and we have had motorcaravans for some years this is our second autosleeper we usually stay on camping caravanning club d.a. meets during the summer and travel abroad in autumn usually now to spain .oh by the way this year is our 50th wedding anniversay.so may do something special.

Apologies for not introducing. So here we go.
Aged 72 ame into motor homing via the caravan, some years ago, and after experiencing a couple of motorhomes, now finally settled with the Sussex Duo. Have to really, now run out of dosh !
Career involved aviation, RAF for 23 years, followed by Laker, and finally 24 years at Brittania/ Thomson Airways, as an engineer and tech trainer.
Live in Luton.

Hi Tengah, Welcome to the forum
It would have been better if you had started your own introduction thread rather than tagging on to someone else's though. (you'd get more attention)
The way I work it is this: If I see that a new member has introduced themselves and have less than say 8 responses, I will join in to welcome that person. If on the other hand the new member has a dozen or so welcomes, then I don't bother as I feel that the new member has already been made welcome by others and page after page of "Hello Fred - welcome to the forum" is boring.
If other members think the same way as I do, then it's possible that by tagging on to the end of someones else's post, you would not be noticed, and you might feel you were being ignored?
