Introduction
Hello everybody, we hope to become owners of a Gatcombe in the next month - nerve wracking to say the least but we have teetered on the edge of one of these vans for a very long time. Past campervanning has been in a VW T25 Devon - a grand old lady and we have been pulling a caravan with her for the last 6 years but towing has never provided the answer really, so we are finally taking the plunge! In the process of purchase the info on the forum has been wonderful and no doubt we shall have our own set of questions when the van is picked up. and shall be for some time no doubt.

Thanks Dutto and Boaby
equally cold and miserable here and we can't even claim it is 'bracing' like Skegness!
Dreich is a lovely word. We've not been to Bridlington yet but quite close at Bempton Cliffs for the nesting birds a few years ago. Looking forward to getting to that part of the coast again soon

Hi Peter
One or two nice private sites in the area, the caravan club has a new site north of Brid on the coast road near Sewerby hall with its Zoo and gardens.

Re: Introduction
Thanks to Roli, Robbie, Waves and George. What a friendly forum! The caravan went off into the sunset yesterday so we now have a space waiting for its Gatcombe but that is 3 weeks off and counting.
Thanks George, fellow Gatcombe owner, and I am sure we shall be having to do much exploring of the van when we get it even though we have been a long time collecting information about the Clubmans and Gatcombe. Now we just want it to begin.
